About Jennifer
Jennifer White is a highly regarded independent investigator and lawyer based in Ottawa, with broad experience in both public and private sectors. She conducts administrative, regulatory, human rights, safe sport, and workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and other breaches of law or policy.
As an external investigator, she establishes the facts and delivers impartial, detailed reports that assist organizations in making sound, well-informed decisions. With more than two decades of professional experience, she has worked exclusively in investigations since 2016 and is recognized for her thoroughness, precision, and strong investigative judgment.
Jennifer serves on several investigative rosters, including the New Brunswick Police Commission, the Federal Government’s National Master Standing Offer (NMSO) for harassment and violence investigations, and the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner.
She brings a unique understanding of sport through her experience as an athlete, coach, and parent, with a particular interest in ringette, hockey, rugby, and triathlon. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Association of Workplace Investigators, and is frequently invited to speak publicly on the role of independent investigators.
